Spicy brussels sprouts

1 lbs brussels sprouts, halved
1 Tbsp oil
1 each large garlic clove , minced (optional)
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp red pepper flakes
1 Tbsp soy sauce

Preparation steps:
  1. Boil water in a medium size pot. Add the brussels sprouts, cook for 4 minutes until barely tender. (count the 4 minutes from when adding the brussels sprouts) Drain the brussels sprouts.
  2. Heat a heavy pan. Add oil, brussels sprouts and garlic (optional), stir for 20 seconds.
  3. Add salt, red pepper flakes and soy sauce. Stir fry for 6-10 minutes.
