Chicken with orange colors

3 lbs chicken thigh meat, large pieces
1 each large yam
4 each medium carrot
2 each medium potato
25 each small dried apricot (optional)
2 Tbsp chicken soup powder
1 tsp salt
tsp black pepper
½ tsp Sriracha hot chili sauce
cup hot water
cup honey

Preparation steps:
  1. Peel the vegetables and cut them into large pieces.
  2. In a large pot combine the chicken soup powder, salt, black pepper, hot chili sauce, hot water, and honey.
  3. Add the chicken, carrots and potatoes.
  4. Cook for 20 minutes.
  5. Add the yam and dried apricots (optional) and cook additional 10-15 minutes.
Serving: with steamed rice or couscous.
