Thai fish and green beans with chili

Ingredients
 
2 Tbsp oil
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 tsp serrano chili, minced
1 lbs green beans, trimmed and halved
 
1 Tbsp sugar
3 Tbsp soy sauce
¼ tsp salt
¼ cup water
 
1 Tbsp soy sauce
¼ tsp salt
¼ cup water
1 lbs tilapia, large bite size
¾ cup basil leaves
 


Preparation steps:
  1. Heat a wok over high heat. Add oil, garlic and chili, stir for 30 seconds.
  2. Add the green beans and stir fry for 3 minutes.
  3. Add soy sauce, sugar, salt and water and cook covered on medium-high heat for 10 minutes.
  4. Take out the green beans and place them on a serving plate. Leave the sauce in the wok.
  5. Reheat the wok (without cleaning it), add soy sauce, salt and cup water. Add the fish and basil. Simmer covered for 8 minutes.
  6. Place the fish next to the green beans on the serving plate and pour over the sauce from the wok.
