Malawach with Greek yogurt

Ingredients
 
2 each malawach crust
tsp zaatar
½-1 tsp olive oil
 
1 cup tzatziki dip
2 each small cucumber, sliced
 


Preparation steps:
  1. Defrost the malawach crusts about 10 minutes before usage.
  2. Rub 1½ tsp zaatar and ½ tsp olive oil on each crust.
  3. Cut each crust into 8 triangles (like pizza).
  4. Role each triangle (like rogalach).
  5. Arrange the triangles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake at 350F for 15 minutes. Turn the triangles up side down. Bake at 350F for additional 10 minutes.
Serving: Serve warm on a plater with sliced cucumbers and Greek tzatziki dip or goat cheese with parsley dip

  • Malawach can be purchased in Middle
    Eastern stores. Each package comes
    with 6 crusts.
    Recommended brands: Maadanot or Sabra.
  • Zaatar is a Middle Eastern spice made from
    thyme, sumac and sesame seeds.
  • Tzatziki dip can be purchased at Costco.
