Roasted potatoes and yams

3 each large potato
1 each large yam
1 envelope Lipton "Recipe secrets" Onion
1/8 cup canola oil
½ cup water
¼ cup chopped fresh parsley

Preparation steps:
  1. In a disposable 10" x 12" pan combine the Lipton onion mix with the oil and water.
  2. Cut the potatoes and yams into large chunks, and add them to the pan. Mix all ingredients.
  3. Roast covered at 385° for 50 minutes.
  4. Stir the potatoes and yams with the onion mix, and bake covered additional 10 minutes.
Serving: Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.

  • Each Lipton package comes with 2 envelopes.
    Use only 1 envelope for this recipe.
  • Cut the yam into larger pieces than the potato,
    since it requires shorter roasting time.
