Preparation steps: |
- Cook the beets for 50-60 minutes until they become soft.
Strain the beets from the brooth and cool down to room temperature.
- In a medium bowl mix the sugar, lemon juice, water and salt.
- Cut the beets into small cubes, add to the bowl and mix with the seasoning.
Serving: The Polish beets are good warm or cold.
