Preparation steps: |
- Grate potatoes and onions twice.
- Wait 5 minutes and drain some of the liquids.
- Microwave on medium heat for 2 minutes. Drain liquids again.
- Add flour, eggs, salt and chili powder to mixture.
- In a non stick pan, heat 1 Tbsp oil.
- Fry 8 latkes at a time for 2 minutes each side.
- Mix the ingredients before starting each batch.
- Add 1 Tbsp of oil to the pan before each batch.
Serving: With sour cream or apple sauce on the side.
