Recipe serves: 4-6

Baked breaded cauliflower

1 medium cauliflower (2 lbs)
1 each large egg
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp hot chili powder
2 Tbsp water
1 cup plain bread crumbs
1/8 cup oil

Preparation steps:
  1. Cut cauliflower into florets.
  2. Cook the florets in hot water for 20 minutes. Drain the water and let it cool down a few minutes.
  3. In a soup bowl mix the egg with salt, hot chilli powder and water. Pour the bread crumbs into another soup bowl.
  4. Dip each floret in the egg mix and then coat it with the bread crumbs.
  5. Place the breaded florets in one layer in a 10" x 12" baking dish.
  6. Drizzle the oil on the florets.
  7. Bake covered at 350F for 35 minutes.
