Chinese chicken salad

4 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
2 cup red cabbage, shredded
1 cup carrot, julienned or shaved
3 each green onion, thinly sliced
¼ cup cilantro, chopped
3 cup rotisserie chicken breast, chopped
11 oz Mandrain oranges in light syrup (optional)
1 cup dry chow mein noodles
Salad dressing
1 Tbsp ginger, minced
2 Tbsp brown sugar
2 Tbsp oil
2 Tbsp soy
13 cup rice vinegar
tsp sesame oil

Preparation steps:
  1. Mix the salad dressing and toss with the vegetables and chicken.
  2. Optional: drain the Mandrain oranges from the syrup and genetly mix in the salad.
  3. Divide into individual plates and garnish with the dry chow mein noodles.

Take note!
  • Measurements:
    4 cup = medium romaine lettuce
    2 cup = 1/3 small red cabbage
    1 cup = 2 medium carrots
    3 cup = 1 large chicken breast

  • Use Napa cabbage instead of
    the romaine lettuce
  • Use crispy wonton strips instead of
    the dry chow mein noodles
