Preparation steps: |
- Boil 3 cups water in a double deck steamer pot.
Additionally boil water in the teakettle.
- Pour 1/3 cup rice into each mold. Rinse the rice with tap water.
- Once the water in the steamer boils, pour 1/3 cup hot water into each mold.
- Arrange 2 molds in each steamer deck and steam for 30 minutes.
- Remove from steamer and cool down. Use a cake spatula to release the
rice from the mold. Flip the molds onto a serving dish. (see picture)
Serving: Garnish with dry cilantro.
