Recipe amount: 10-12 medium jars

Peach jam

6 lbs peaches, chopped
4 lbs sugar

Preparation steps:
  1. Bring to simmer (20 minutes) in a large pot.
  2. Simmer for 3-4 hours, mix every 20-30 minutes. Leave the pot lid slightly open, so that the jam doesn't overflow during cooking.
  3. Use a potato masher to break down the large pieces of fruit in the cooked jam, but don't puree the jam.
  4. In a separate large pot, sterilize the jars and lids using boiling water.
  5. Pour the hot jam into the jars and seal immediately.

Take note!
  • The jars can be stored at room
    temperature for up to a year.
    Once a jar is opened it should be
    kept in the refrigerator.

  • Use a mix of peaches, plums
    and apricots.
