Shenitzel

Ingredients
2½-3 lbs chicken breast
 
2-3 each large egg
½ tsp salt
 
½ cup flour
cup plain bread crumbs
 
oil for deep frying


Preparation steps:
  1. Slice the chicken into flat pieces.
  2. In a soup bowl mix the eggs with salt.
  3. Pour the flour and bread crumbs into two additional soup bowls.
  4. Dip each chicken piece in the flour, then in the egg mix, and then coat with the bread crumbs.
  5. Deep fry in a medium hot oil 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Use a fork to flip the shenitzels.
  6. Remove from oil and arrange on a paper towel for a few minutes to remove excess oil.
Serving: with ketchup on the side or large pieces of lemon.
