Preparation steps: |
- Marinade the chicken for 2 hours to overnight.
- BBQ the chicken for 6-8 minutes on medium heat on each side.
Serving the chicken Shawarma style:
Prepare: pita breads (slice into halves), hummus, tahini, sliced red onion and Middle Eastern cabbage salad.
Slice the chicken into strips.
Just before serving, warm the pita breads and the chicken.
Stuff the pita breads with all the ingredients.
