Recipe serves: 4-6

Roasted pork loin with dry basil

Ingredients

lbs pork loin tenderloin
Tbsp dry basil
1 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp mild chili powder
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp salt

1 each oven bag - turkey size
1 Tbsp flour

5 large potatoes, peeled, cut into large pieces
1 tsp salt
2 Tbsp mild chili powder

Preparation steps:
  1. Prepare the marinade from the dry basil, sugar, chili powder, soy sauce and salt.
  2. Marinade the pork for several hours.
  3. Shake the flour in the oven bag. Insert the pork into the oven bag and place it inside a roasting pan.
  4. Sprinkle the salt and mild chili powder on the potatoes and add them to the oven bag.
  5. Close the oven bag and roast the pork and potatoes in the oven at 400°F for 20 minutes.
  6. Turn the pork up side down. Roast for additional 20 minutes.
Serving: Remove the pork from the oven bag, slice the tenderloin into thick slices. Arrange the slices on a serving plate. Pour the potatoes and sauce on top of the pork slices.

Take note:
  • Although a smaller size of oven bag
will do, the turkey size is easier to
    work with.
