Grilled pork sticks with ginger and sesame seeds

3 lbs boneless pork chops
2 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp fresh minced ginger
2 Tbsp sesame oil
4 Tbsp honey
4 Tbsp soy sauce
6 Tbsp oil
¼ tsp hot chili powder
3 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Preparation steps:
  1. Cut each pork chop into 4 stripes.
  2. Mix the marinade ingredients . Add the pork and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  3. Soak the wooden skewers in water for 20 minutes. Prepare the pork skewers (about 20 skewers).
  4. Grill the pork skewers 4-5 minutes on each side on medium heat. While grilling, baste with the remaining marinade.
Serving: Sprinkle the sesame seeds and serve.

Take note!
  • 3 lbs pork chops: 5-6 pieces of pork.
  • Toasted sesame seeds - toast the
    seeds in a non-stick pan on high heat
    for a few minutes.
    Mix the seeds frequently to avoid
    burning them.
