Recipe serves: 4

Grilled salmon

2 lbs salmon steaks (about 1 inch thick)
Marinade option 1
¼ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp salt
1 Tbsp soy sauce
2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
Marinade Option 2
¼ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp salt
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup olive oil (Toscano)
½ cup balsamic vinegar (Modena)

Preparation steps:
  1. Marinade the salmon in a shallow dish for ½-1 hour.
  2. Heat the BBQ for 10-15 minutes. Reduce heat. Using the spatula apply some of the marinade to the BBQ surface to prevent the fish from sticking later on.
  3. Grill the salmon for 6-7 minutes on low heat. Add marinade and flip the fish once. Add marinade and grill 6-7 more minutes. Close the BBQ while grilling.
Serving: with sliced lemon on the side.
