Walnuts, chocolate and coconut bars

½ cup butter (1 stick)
1 ½ cup Graham cracker crumbs (½ Keebler package = 7oz)
1 each condensed milk 14oz can (not evaporated)
6 oz milk chocolate chips (½ package)
1 ½ cup sweet shredded coconut (3 ½ oz)
1 cup walnuts, chopped

Preparation steps:
  1. In a bowl, mix the chocolate chips, coconut and walnuts.

  2. Heat oven to 350F.
  3. Cut the butter stick into 8 pieces. In a 9" x 13" baking pan melt the butter in the oven for 3-5 minutes. Remove from the oven and set aside.

  4. Pour the crumbs evenly over the melted butter.
  5. Pour the condensed milk evenly over the crumbs.
  6. Pour the chocolate, coconut and walnuts mix over the condensed milk.

  7. Use a spatula to press down the mix in the pan.
  8. Bake at 350F for 25 minutes.

  9. Cool down to room temperature. Cut into bars and store in a container.

Take note!
  • May want to double the amount.
  • Pour the ingredients evenly, as it becomes messy to level the ingredients once they are already in the pan.
  • Pressing down the mix in the pan is important, otherwise the bar would fall apart.
