Preparation steps: |
- Bake the Quaker quick oats on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper at 350F for 10 minutes.
- Transfer the oats to a large bowl.
- Line a 10" x 12" (disposable) baking pan with parchment paper.
- Add the pepitas, walnuts, cranberries, rice cereal and sesame seeds to the large bowl and mix the ingredients.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter. Add honey, brown sugar, vanilla and salt and cook on low heat until the sugar is dissolved.
- Stir in the butter mixture into the large bowl.
- Pour the mixture into the baking pan. Use a second sheet of parchment paper to press the mixture down.
- Let the mixture cool down for 2 hours.
- Remove from the pan, and cut into 24 bars.
