Apple crisp

Ingredients
1 cup sugar
cup self rising flour
cup semolina flour
 
½ cup small raisins
3/4 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped
 
7 each medium grand smith apples, peeled, and cored
¾ tsp cinnamon
1 1/3 stick unsalted butter
 
vanilla ice cream


Preparation steps:
  1. Oil a 10" x 12" disposable baking pan.
  2. Mix sugar, flour and semolina in a large bowl. Pour 1 3/4 cups of the mix into the baking pan.
  3. Melt ½ stick of butter and pour it into the baking pan. Mix the butter gently with the sugar and flour and distribute it evenly in the pan.
  4. Sprinkle the raisins and pecans or walnuts on top of the layer in the pan.
  5. Slice the apples using a food processor. Mix the apples and cinnamon and add them to the pan.
  6. Melt the remaining butter and mix it with the remaining flour and sugar. Sprinkle the crumbs evenly on top of the apples.
  7. Bake at 370F for 50 minutes.
Serving: warm with vanilla ice cream.
